Expressive Contemporary Realism
Farm-to-Canvas I paint farm products that are produced where I live in the Dry Creek Valley of Healdsburg, California. I often include objects like crocks, boxes and country furniture from my childhood home in Pennsylvania Dutch country. It was there, where my ancestors lived as farmers and craftsmen since the 1700's, that I learned to paint from my Grandmother and began to appreciate the agricultural heritage of the local Amish farmers.
